  • Millefiori Cane Makeover: Learn how to bring a disappointing millefiori cane from fugly to gorgeous! Like magic, you’ll learn how to salvage all those less-than-desirable canes and turn them into lovely wonders using techniques I developed (one of my proudest discoveries:). This is a happy-making method for caners who have scads of seemingly unusable canes! Learning this technique will allow you to profit from old, unattractive canes you put time into, but thought wasted. The price of this course will quickly be covered with your ability to sell old (but now new) canes! You will also learn in this segment, how to store and keep canes so they stay fresh, soft, pliable, and “like new”, even after a decade of storage!

BONUS

  • Materials List
  • Grasses: Learn my innovative technique for using a basic grooming tool to create delicate, fine grasses that will add life to any piece you create!
  • Fantastical Mushroom Pods: Learn to create these sweet little pods using basic tools, scrap clay (always a win!) and not much effort — yet they look so complex! Add a spot of interesting whimsy to your work with these colorful pods.
  • Realistic Twine: When basic materials are combined and treated in a specific way, realistic looking twine is born! You’ll learn the tricks in this class! Reishi Mushrooms: Reishi’s grow in wild varieties, and in this class you’ll learn innovative skills to create two varieties that can then be altered to achieve other varieties of Reishi shrooms. The process is fun and “out of the box”, and opens your mind up to new ways of combining polymer clay and alcohol inks!
