Sculpting Adorable Polymer Clay Dogs

$137.00

If you’re a dog lover who has always wanted to learn to sculpt dogs, this is a fun and easy way to begin. Join Ginny as she shows us how to make these adorable miniature dogs in polymer clay! She will show you how she breaks things down into basic shapes to sculpt cute and whimsical dogs in a variety of breeds and poses. She often dresses the dogs up for various holidays by adding a Santa hat or witch’s hat, and by having the dog hold a wreath or pumpkin, or even a flag for the 4th of July, in its paws. The breeds we will create in this class are the Old English Sheepdog, Yorkshire Terrier, and Miniature Schnauzer.

What You Will Learn

First, we will create the head/neck of these breeds, then she will show how to create a full body pose of each breed – the Old English Sheepdog in a cute play bow pose, the Yorkshire Terrier in a standing pose, and the Schnauzer in a lying down pose. The pieces we create in class can be used to create brooches, pendants, ornaments, and wall hangings that you can sell or gift to your dog-loving friends and family. They can also be used to decorate coffee mugs, jars, boxes, picture frames, and more.
