If you already are a Doll Artist or Sculptor this class is a must-have! This is a basic introduction to making a doll in silicone, Learning how to make a silicone doll is the next step in doll making, you’ll be amazed by the realism and feel/texture of silicone. Our model will be a 1:6 scale bust made by me in polymer clay, if you wish to work along with me you will need to make your own doll head/neck (bust) preferable in polymer clay and have it baked it, no primer or varnish. We will learn how to make an easy mold of your original clay sculpture to be cast into silicone, then the whole process of painting silicone, the correct use of materials, and troubleshooting.
