About The Instructor
Sherrie Neilson is an award-winning artist living in Salt Lake City, Utah. While she has been an artist her entire life, she discovered art dolls about 8 years ago but, due to the demands of her job and family there was very little time to learn the art of sculpting art dolls. In 2017 Sherrie lost her job and was blessed to be able to stay home and pursue her passion of becoming a doll artist.
During the last 3 years Sherrie has graduated the Professional Doll Makers Intermediate Academy, became the contest coordinator for the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild, attended her first doll show where she took first place in the fantasy category and has opened an online store Heart of a Fairy. Sherrie continues to follow her dream.
