UV resin is the most user-friendly of the resins for creating jewelry and accessories. Lisa Pavelka guides you through numerous creations with a non-toxic quick cure.
Curious Mondo viewers will learn things like how to get nearly instant gratification when working with resin for techniques such as collaging in layers, working with open-back settings and so much more!
She’ll guide you through what works with UV resin and what doesn’t. Find out how to master effects including how to create glass-like cabochon finishes, mimicking eye-catching dichroic glass, opal and working with inclusions to name a few.
All of Lisa’s tips and tricks will be revealed!
Lisa will guide the viewer into the basics of working with quick cure resin and then take the viewer into more in-depth tips and techniques, including preventing or fixing bubbles, which inclusions to work with, alternative curing methods, special effects and much, much more!
The class will include project techniques including how to make layered collages with resin for floating/dimensional effects, creating various surface effects including concave, lens-like and cabochon finishes. We’ll also learn how to use resin in open frameworks and acrylic forms.
