Unique Polymer Clay Mosaic Tiles

Join us as Deborah shows us her unique methods to create your own custom mosaic tiles! This is a method of painting with polymer clay. This unique process enables you to customize your mosaic tile including rounded and curvy edges! This technique can be used for a variety of applications from tables, mirror frames, and backsplashes. You can even make your own custom patterns for clients or special projects. Come enjoy this journey with us!

About The Instructor: Deborah Cooper-Asberry

I discovered Art later in life when my children were in their teens. Being a Self-Taught Artist meant that I never had anyone to teach me the ‘rules’ of polymer clay and that has been an advantage to my creativity! Bending the rules has lead me to develop new, original processes that lead to innovative results.

I love thinking of new ways to stretch the boundaries of what this wonderfully versatile material can do! In 2012 I was privileged to have my work featured on the runway of Fashion Week Cleveland as the world’s first Mosaic Tile clothing (and shoes) of it’s kind! I’ve also been featured in a National magazine (Doggie Aficionado, 2013) and National TV (Bethenny show, 2014) for my work with polymer clay. I always seek to inspire my students to branch out and use their imagination. I truly believe that everyone has an Artist of some type locked inside just waiting to come out and express themselves!
