About the instructor
Darcy Dixon
Darcy is a 41 year old lover of all things crafty. She has had over 20 years combined of mix media art knowledge and experience. Her unique eye for the unusual gives her a creative outlet that’s different from most. She enjoys taxidermy and anything macabre. She also loves the beauty and delicate nature of repurposing antiquities, forest finds and anything that sparkles. She would describe herself and “ edgy and empathic.”
“I like to showcase things from all aspects of my personality when I am crafting.” She stated “Sometimes it will be something super cute, approachable and sought after. Other times it can be dark, mysterious and not for everyone. I create the things that come into my head with little thought as to why the muse has struck. But everything I make comes from my heart and is made with the passion of a person who truly loves to see their work go home with people that appreciate it as much as I do.”
